Summer Camp 2008

Willowwind Summer Camp Overview
At Willowwind School, learning is accomplished through membership in a community. Classes are multi-age; students and teachers work together to form cross-grade partnerships in a caring, purposeful community of learners. Willowwind School values a rich tradition of 35 years of history. We are pleased to offer expanded summer programming at our new campus at 950 Dover Street in Iowa City. This new space has been carefully planned to meet our needs for creative, hands-on learning for children from preschool through eighth grade

Enrollment Information
Due to the high level of interest we have extended the camp registration deadline to May 30.
Please call for class availability.

Willowwind School invites public, private, and home-schooled students to join us for our 2008 summer camp program. Over 40 K-8 classes are available as well as full-day and half-day preschool options. The Montessori preschool program, with class sizes of 20-22, is designed for children three, four, and five years old (children must be potty-trained). The school-age camps are designed for two multi-age groups--kindergarten through grade 3 and grades 4-8. Children must turn five years of age by December 1, 2008 to be eligible to participate in the school-age camps. Class sizes of 14-16 students allow students to take an active role in the classroom.

Please contact Annie Kellerman, director of recruitment and development, for more information.
