The Young Creators Exhibition, sponsored by Willowwind School in partnership with Summer of the Arts, celebrates the creativity of young artists across our community. Kindergarten through 6th-grade students are invited to submit original artwork for display at the Iowa Arts Festival on June 6, 2026.
This exhibition is designed to provide an accessible and meaningful opportunity for children to share their work in a public setting, highlighting the unique perspectives and creative voices of young artists. Participants are encouraged to explore what community means to them or create a piece inspired by their own curiosity and imagination.
Selected artwork will be showcased during Arts Fest, with one winner and one runner-up recognized in each grade level. All submissions will be considered for display on a first-come, first-served basis.
