Application Process

1. APPLY

We invite you to submit your application via the online application.  There is a $100 application fee.

The date that we receive your application and fee secures your place on the waiting list.

To begin the Online Application process, you will be directed to create an account within the Parent Portal. Then log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account, access your open application and check on your admission status.

2. TOUR

We are currently offering virtual tours via Zoom or on-site tours the building after 4pm. The tour is not required if you feel you are sufficiently familiar with our school.

3. SCHOOL DAY VISIT

Preschool students visit the class during a morning or aftenoon recess for 20 minutes. K-6 students may visit the classroom during the school day for an hour or more. This will be a chance for Willowwind teachers to get to know you and vice versa. It should be enjoyable and low pressure.  We are not doing any assessments here, just getting to know your child and their needs.

4. DETERMINE TUITION TIER (K-6 Only)

Willowwind uses 6 tuition tiers, correlated to household income. Our FACTS application is the procedure for determining which tuition tier you are eligible for.  If you review the information and determine you are eligible for Tier 1 tuition, then filling out the FACTS application is not required.

5. NEXT STEPS

Your application will be evaluated for admission. New students are then invited to enroll based upon the date we received the completed application and fee. Admission after the start of the academic year is based upon availability.
