Ooey Gooey Science

8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

$275

Learn about physical and chemical reactions through engaging, hands-on and messy science experiments! Create an exploding volcano out of baking soda and vinegar, make exploding chalk, flubber, sticky sand dough, slime, bouncy balls and much, much more! But what happens to make the volcano explode? How do the ingredients work together to make sticky sand dough? Explore the why behind these fun experiments as students enter the science laboratory.

Preschool camp includes time for lunch and rest. Please send a healthy sack lunch and a blanket for rest time with your child daily.

K-6th Grade:

The Great Iowa City Race

8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

$275

Collaborate, navigate, and orienteer your way through Iowa City on this urban adventure! Come to camp to receive your daily challenge, which will tell you a location in the area that you need to get to by the end of the day. Then work together with fellow campers as you research and find a way to get to the mystery destination. Using transportation, maps, and teamwork, orienteer your way to the finish! Students will spend the day at their destination once they find it, and ultimately gain independence as they navigate their way through the sites of the greater Iowa City area.

Please send a healthy sack lunch and two small snacks with your child daily.
